Terms and Conditions

The short version

We run two sites. www.nomadiumrobotics.com describes what we are building. hangar.nomadiumrobotics.com, the Digital Hangar, sells digital products: files you download, print and build.

If you buy from the Digital Hangar, three things are worth knowing before you read anything else. Stripe is the merchant of record, so Stripe is the legal seller and we license you the files. You can cancel and get your money back at any time until you download, and we ask you to confirm that you understand you are giving that up at the moment you press download, not buried in this page. And what you buy is a licence to build one for yourself, not ownership of the design.

Specifications, prices and dates on either site are indicative and will change as the engineering changes. Nothing on either site is an offer of securities or investment advice.

You are building an aircraft. What you print and fly is yours, you are responsible for whether it is airworthy and whether the flight is legal, and section 11 does not treat that as boilerplate.

The rest of this page sets all of that out properly.

1. Who we are

In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Nomadium Robotics. “You” means anyone using either of our sites. “Our sites” means www.nomadiumrobotics.com and hangar.nomadiumrobotics.com together. “The Digital Hangar” means the store at hangar.nomadiumrobotics.com. “Consumer” has the meaning EU consumer law gives it: someone buying for purposes outside their trade, business or profession.

2. What these terms cover

These terms govern both of our websites and everything you do on them:

• www.nomadiumrobotics.com, where we describe what we build
• hangar.nomadiumrobotics.com, the Digital Hangar, where we sell digital products
• the account behind the store, and anything you buy through it
• our leaderboards, our referral scheme, and our Discord server

By using either site, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use them.

When you buy something, the terms as they stood at that moment govern that purchase. We may change these terms, and the date at the foot of this page shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the sites after a change means you accept the new version for anything you do afterwards. A change does not reach back and alter something you have already bought.

How we handle personal data is a separate document, our Privacy Policy.

3. Buying from the Digital Hangar

What we sell there

Digital products: 3D-printable model files, the documentation that goes with them, and licences and tools related to them. Nothing physical is sold through either website. Airframes, spare parts and commercial services are supplied only under a separate written agreement, and where such an agreement and these terms differ, the signed agreement wins.

On www.nomadiumrobotics.com nothing is sold at all. Where that site shows a price, a configuration, a developer kit, a pre-order or a beta programme, it is an invitation to talk, not an offer capable of acceptance.

Who you are actually buying from, which is not the obvious answer

We use Stripe Managed Payments. Under it Stripe is the merchant of record, which means Stripe, and not Nomadium Robotics, is the legal seller of your transaction. This is not a technicality and it changes real things:

• Stripe takes the payment, calculates and remits the VAT, issues your receipt and handles refunds and chargebacks. Stripe’s own terms govern that part.
• Your bank or card statement will show Stripe, or Link. It will not show Nomadium Robotics. A charge you do not recognise is very often this.
• We license the files to you. Buying gets you a licence from us, described in section 5. Stripe sells you the product. We decide what the product is and what you may do with it.
• Support splits the same way. Stripe handles questions about the payment. We handle everything about the product itself, and you should always feel free to start with us.

You need an account

There is no guest checkout. You sign in before you buy, so that what you own is tied to an identity you control rather than to a link in an email. Section 8 covers the account.

Price and tax

Prices shown to consumers include VAT at the rate for your country, which Stripe determines at checkout from where you are. The total you are asked to approve on Stripe’s page is the amount you pay. If a price shown anywhere on our sites disagrees with the total at checkout, the checkout total is the one that governs, and please tell us so we can fix the page.

When the contract is made

Adding something to a basket or reaching the checkout page creates nothing. The contract is made when Stripe confirms your payment has succeeded and we grant the entitlement to your account. If a payment succeeds but nothing appears in My Hangar, that is a fault on our side and not a failed purchase. Email us and we will fix it.

We may decline or cancel an order where a price was obviously wrong, where a payment is flagged as fraudulent, or where we may not lawfully supply you. If we do, you get your money back in full.

4. Your right to change your mind

You can cancel and get a full refund at any time before you download the files, within 14 days of buying. No reason needed and nothing to justify. That is the simple version and it is the one that applies to almost everybody.

Why downloading is the moment that matters

Under EU consumer law you have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract. For digital content that right ends once supply begins, but only if you expressly asked for it to begin and acknowledged that asking costs you the withdrawal right.

So we do not bury that in this page and we do not ask at checkout, where you have not received anything yet. We ask at the download itself. Before the first download of a purchase, a dialog tells you plainly that downloading starts supply and ends your right to withdraw, and you have to agree to it. Until you do that, you have bought something and received nothing, and your money is entirely refundable.

If you never press download, nothing is ever taken from you. Close the dialog and ask for a refund instead.

We record that you gave the acknowledgement, when, and the wording you were shown, and we send you confirmation of it by email. We keep that because it is the only evidence either of us has about what was agreed.

How to ask

Email team@nomadiumrobotics.com and tell us you want to cancel. You may use the model withdrawal form in the Consumer Rights Directive, and you do not have to. Stripe, as merchant of record, may also handle a refund request directly, and Stripe may issue a refund without asking us first.

A refund ends the licence. When a purchase is refunded or charged back, your access to the files and to future updates stops, and any copy you already downloaded is no longer licensed. That is automatic in our system, not a discretionary step.

After 14 days, or after you have downloaded, there is no statutory right to withdraw. Ask us anyway if something has gone wrong. Section 7 covers the case where what we sold you is faulty, and that is a different right that does not expire in 14 days.

5. What you may do with the files

You are buying a licence, not the design. We keep ownership of everything we make. What you get is permission to use it, and the scope of that permission is the whole substance of what you bought.

The Personal-Use Licence sets that scope, and it is published in the Digital Hangar at hangar.nomadiumrobotics.com/personal-use-license, alongside the product you are buying. You accept it when you buy. Read it: it is short, and it is the document that says how many aircraft you may build, what you may modify, what you may share and what you may not.

Where the Personal-Use Licence and these terms disagree about what you may do with a file, the Personal-Use Licence wins. These terms govern everything else.

Your copy is marked. Files we sell may carry a serial tied to the purchase they came from. It is there so a file that turns up somewhere it should not be can be traced back to the account that bought it. Removing, altering or obscuring that mark is a breach of these terms. We do not think this will ever matter to an honest customer, and we would rather say it plainly than hide it.

What you build is yours. The licence is about the files and the design. The aircraft you print with your own filament on your own printer belongs to you, and section 11 is about what that responsibility means.

6. Updates

Where a product is sold with a stated period of updates, that period is recorded against your purchase at the moment you buy, in months, and it is a receipt rather than a rule we can move later. Changing what we offer new customers tomorrow does not change what you were sold today, in either direction.

During that period, when we publish a revision of a product you own, you get it at no extra cost through the same account.

What it does not promise. It is not a promise that we will publish a revision, nor how many, nor by when. It is not a promise that a future revision will fit parts you have already printed. It is not a subscription and there is nothing to cancel.

When the period ends, what you already downloaded stays yours under the same licence, for as long as you like. You simply stop receiving anything new.

7. If something is wrong with what we sold you

Separately from section 4, and lasting far longer than 14 days, digital content we supply to a consumer has to be what we said it was, and has to be fit for what it is obviously for. That is your right under EU law on digital content and we cannot sign it away in these terms, so we do not try.

If something we sold you does not conform, tell us. We will fix it, and if we cannot fix it in a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience to you, you are entitled to an appropriate price reduction or to end the contract and get your money back.

Practically: email us and describe the problem. A file that will not open, a model that cannot be printed as documented, a part that does not fit its own assembly, documentation that contradicts itself. We would rather hear about it than have you assume it is your printer.

What is not a conformity fault: a print that failed because of filament, printer calibration or parameters other than those we specify; a modification you made; damage in flight; or a performance figure differing from a nominal one, which section 9 already explains.

8. Your account

You need one to buy. Some things to agree on:

• Keep your sign-in to yourself. Anything done through your account is treated as done by you. Tell us immediately if you think someone else has access.
• One account per person. Do not create accounts to work around a limit, a discount or a referral rule.
• Give us an address that reaches you. Your receipts, your download links and any safety notice about something you bought all go there.
• You can delete it at any time. The Privacy Policy explains how, and warns you about the one real consequence: the record of your purchase is what proves it, so deleting the account ends your access to the files and to future updates, and we cannot undo that.
• We can suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, in particular for redistributing files, tampering with the mark in section 5, or abusing the referral scheme. We will tell you why. Where the breach is fixable we will say what would fix it. We will not keep the money for a product we have taken away, unless you have redistributed it, in which case we will pursue what we are owed rather than refund it.

9. Information on our sites is indicative

Nomadium Robotics is an early-stage company. TerraHawk, Spotlight, TerraPOD and FarSight are under active development.

Specifications, performance figures, weights, dimensions, prices, availability dates and certification status shown on our sites are targets and estimates for the configuration described. They change as the engineering changes.

Performance figures are nominal. Real results depend on payload, weather, terrain, mission profile, build quality and configuration.

Where we describe a certification as pending, planned or expected, the product is not certified today. Read it as an intention, not an achievement.

Nothing on our sites is a warranty, a guarantee of performance, a specification you may rely on for design or procurement, or a promise of a delivery date. If you need a figure you can rely on, ask us in writing and we will tell you what we can stand behind.

This section is about published marketing information. It is not a disclaimer of what we sold you. If you buy a product, what we told you it was at the point of sale, and the documentation supplied with it, are part of the deal, and section 7 governs them. Nothing here reduces that, and it would be an unfair term if it tried to.

10. Nothing here is an offer of investment

Parts of our sites, including the Invest page and the white paper, describe our strategy, our roadmap, our market view and our plans.

Those pages are published for information only. They are not:

• an offer to sell, or a solicitation of an offer to buy, any security, share or financial instrument
• a prospectus, an information memorandum, a financial promotion or an admission document
• investment, legal, tax, accounting or financial advice
• a recommendation that anyone invest in anything

Any investment in Nomadium Robotics would be made only under separate documentation, with investors who are eligible under the law that applies to them, and only in jurisdictions where such an offer is lawful. Do not rely on anything on this site when making an investment decision. Take your own professional advice.

Forward-looking statements. Statements on this site about what we intend, expect, aim or plan to do are forward-looking. They rest on assumptions about technology, certification, regulation, supply, funding and markets that may turn out to be wrong. Actual results may differ materially from what is described. Except where the law requires it, we take on no obligation to update these statements.

11. Building and flying is regulated, and it is on you

Nothing on this site is operational, airworthiness, safety or regulatory advice.

Flying an unmanned aircraft in the European Union is governed by Regulations (EU) 2019/947 and (EU) 2019/945, and by national rules that vary between countries. Anyone operating an aircraft is responsible for holding the correct registration, authorisations, insurance and pilot competencies for the category of operation and the airspace they fly in.

Check with your national aviation authority before you fly. Descriptions of use cases on our sites do not imply that a given operation is permitted where you are.

If you build one from our files, you are the manufacturer of it

This is the part people skim, so it is short and plain. We supply a design. You make the aircraft. Whatever comes off your printer was made by you, from your materials, on your machine, to your settings.

That means you are responsible for:

• printing it as documented. The material, the print parameters and the assembly steps in the manual are part of the design, not suggestions. Deviating from them is your decision and the result is your aircraft, not ours.
• inspecting and testing what you built before you fly it, and following the pre-flight checklist every time.
• the legal status of the aircraft. A privately built airframe carries no class mark, and a class mark is what opens the less restrictive subcategories of Open-category flight. Do not assume our published specifications place your build in a category it is not in. Check the rules for an aircraft with no class mark, in your country, before you fly.
• registration, insurance and your own competency, as above.

Nothing we publish is permission to fly, and no number on our sites is a substitute for reading the rules that apply to you.

12. Intellectual property

The site and everything in it, including text, images, renders, technical drawings, video, layout, design and code, belongs to Nomadium Robotics or to our licensors. It is protected by copyright, design rights and other intellectual property rights.

“Nomadium”, “Nomadium Robotics”, “TerraHawk”, “Spotlight”, “TerraPOD” and “FarSight” are our marks. You may not use them in a way that suggests we endorse, supply or are associated with you.

You may read the site, print pages for your own reference, and quote short extracts with clear attribution and a link back. You may not copy, republish, redistribute or commercially exploit the content without our written permission.

Search engines and AI systems. We want this site read, indexed, quoted and summarised. We do not reserve the text and data mining exception under Article 4(3) of Directive (EU) 2019/790, and our robots.txt says the same in machine-readable form. Search crawlers, AI assistants and research crawlers are welcome to read this site, and to use it in training, retrieval and generated answers.

That permission does not extend to reproducing the site. Copyright still applies: mining, indexing, summarising and quoting with attribution are fine, wholesale copying or republication of our content is not.

That permission covers our published web pages and nothing else. It does not reach the products we sell: model files, drawings, technical data and documentation supplied to customers, whether downloaded or held in an account. For those we expressly reserve the rights under Article 4(3) of Directive (EU) 2019/790, including for text and data mining and for training, fine-tuning or evaluating any machine learning system. A file you bought is governed by the Personal-Use Licence in section 5, and by nothing on this page that talks about crawling a website.

13. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use either site unlawfully, or for any fraudulent or harmful purpose
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to either site, its servers or any connected system
• probe, scan or test our security without our written permission
• introduce malware, or anything designed to damage or disrupt either site
• scrape or automatically collect from either site at a rate that burdens it, or in breach of section 12
• misrepresent your identity or your affiliation with us
• share, resell or publish files you bought, or strip the mark described in section 5
• create accounts to work around a limit, a discount or a referral rule
• submit a flight log that is not yours to share, or that you have altered

Our Discord server

The same applies there, plus the obvious: be civil, do not post other people’s personal data, and do not use it to advertise. It is a place for people building these aircraft to help each other. We can remove a post or a member without notice where that is not what is happening, and Discord has its own rules on top of ours.

14. Leaderboards

We may run leaderboards where pilots compete on figures such as speed, endurance or distance, with a flight log as proof.

Entering is optional and never automatic. Sending us a log for analysis does not put you on a board. What becomes public if you enter is the display name you choose, the figure, the aircraft and the date. The log itself is never published, and neither is any position data in it. The Privacy Policy has the detail.

Read this part before you go chasing a number.

A leaderboard is not permission to fly beyond what the law allows you, and a record is not worth an accident. Open-category flight requires you to keep the aircraft in sight, and a privately built airframe with no class mark is restricted further still. We would rather have an empty leaderboard than a single entry flown beyond visual line of sight.

So: entries must come from flights that were lawful where and when they happened, and we will remove an entry, and may close an account, where they were not. We are not a substitute for your national aviation authority, and an entry sitting on a board is not us saying the flight was legal.

On the rest of it: we verify a log before an entry stands. We may reject or remove an entry we cannot verify or believe has been altered. We may correct, reset or retire a board, change how a figure is measured, or stop running leaderboards entirely. Prizes, where any exist, are described where the competition is announced, not here. Nothing on a leaderboard is a performance claim by us, and section 9 applies to every number on one.

15. Referrals and credits

Where we run a referral or affiliate scheme, these apply on top of anything published with the scheme itself.

• Your link is yours, and gaming it is not. No referring yourself, no accounts created to refer each other, no paid search or advertising against our name or our marks, and no presenting yourself as us. Section 12 covers the marks.
• We record which account referred which purchase, because we cannot credit you otherwise. The Privacy Policy says what that means for the people involved.
• Credits are not money. They have no cash value, we do not pay them out in cash, they are not transferable, and they can only be used for what the scheme says they can. This is not coyness: our payment setup does not permit paying out to third parties at all.
• A refunded or charged-back purchase reverses whatever it earned, for both sides.
• We can change or end a scheme, and we will honour credits already earned in the way the scheme described when they were earned.
• We can withhold or reverse a reward obtained by breaking these rules, and close the account that did it.

16. Links to other sites

We link to third-party websites, partner sites, press coverage and our own social channels. We do not control them and we are not responsible for their content, their products or their privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement.

17. Availability and accuracy

We try to keep the site accurate and available, but to the fullest extent the law allows we give no warranty that it is accurate, complete, current, uninterrupted, secure or free from error.

We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site at any time without notice.

18. Liability

Start with what we are not trying to do here. This section does not attempt to sign away your safety, your consumer rights or our responsibility for a defective product. It could not, and pretending otherwise would only tell you we were not being straight with you.

What we do not limit, and could not:

• liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence
• liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
• your mandatory rights as a consumer, including the conformity rights in section 7 and the withdrawal right in section 4
• liability for a defective product under the law that applies to it. From 9 December 2026, EU product liability law treats a digital manufacturing file supplied commercially as a product in its own right. We are not disclaiming that, and a term that tried to would be void anyway.

What we do limit. To the fullest extent the law allows, and subject to everything above, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, business, data, goodwill or opportunity, arising from use of our sites or from reliance on anything published on them.

Where responsibility genuinely sits, said plainly. We are responsible for the design being what we said it is, and for it not being defective. You are responsible for the aircraft you built from it, for building it as documented, for checking it before flight, and for flying it lawfully. Section 11 sets that out and it is not boilerplate. A crash caused by our design is ours. A crash caused by the wrong filament, a skipped inspection or a flight nobody should have attempted is not.

One thing we will not pretend about. These are not certified aircraft and nothing we sell is qualified for carrying people, for flight over people, or for any application where a failure would be dangerous to somebody. Do not use them for one.

If you are a business rather than a consumer, the consumer-specific rights above do not apply to you, and our total liability to you for any purchase is limited to what you paid for it, except for the items in the first list, which are not limited for anybody.

19. Privacy

How we handle personal data, across both websites, the store, the leaderboards and Augury, is set out in our Privacy Policy. It is one policy covering everything, and it names every third party that handles your data.

20. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms, and any dispute arising out of them or out of your use of the site, are governed by the law of the Republic of Bulgaria. The courts of Sofia have jurisdiction.

If you use this site as a consumer resident in the European Union, you keep the mandatory protections of the law of your own country, and you may bring proceedings in your own courts.

21. Severability

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
